The Seven Mosques (Trench)
A group of small mosques in the area of the Battle of the Trench.
The Seven Mosques are a group of small mosques in the area where the Battle of the Trench (al-Ahzab) took place, at the foot of Mount Sala.
The trench dug around Medina during the battle is remembered as one of the first defensive strategies in Islamic history. A large mosque telling the story of the battle now stands in the area as well.
It is visited as part of the Medina city tour.
This visit is included in our Umrah programmes.
