Masjid al-Haram and the Kaaba
The first house of worship built on earth and the qibla of all Muslims.
Masjid al-Haram is the sacred mosque surrounding the Kaaba, known as the first house of worship established on earth. The tawaf and sa'y portions of the Umrah are performed here.
The tawaf begins at the line of the Black Stone and is completed in seven circuits. Afterwards the sa'y is performed between the hills of Safa and Marwa, which today lie within the enclosed galleries of the mosque.
Prayer offered in Masjid al-Haram is reported to be many times greater in reward than prayer elsewhere. Our groups pray the daily prayers here together, and our guides accompany the group throughout the tawaf and sa'y.
This visit is included in our Umrah programmes.
