Masjid al-Ghamama
The "cloud" mosque, where the prayer for rain is said to have been answered.
Masjid al-Ghamama takes its name from the Arabic word for "cloud". It is related that the Prophet prayed for rain here and the prayer was answered at once.
It is very close to Al-Masjid an-Nabawi and can easily be visited between prayers. The mosques of Abu Bakr and Ali stand in the same area.
This visit is included in our Umrah programmes.
